Anushka Sharon is a Bollywood actor and producer. She is the highest-paid actor in the industry and is recognized for her performance. Nush the women's clothing collection that she manages and runs with several brands, has been a brand ambassador for many of them. In addition, she has made a an appearance in Forbes Magazine. Anushka Sharma is youngest child of Kumar Sharma (retd.) and Ashima Sharma. She was born in Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh on May 1, 1988. Her father is an officer in the Colonel (retd.) and her mother is a homemaker. Karnesh Singh, her brother and producer of films, served in the Merchant Navy. Anushka Sharma graduated from Army School, Bangalore and has pursued an undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Arts (B.A) from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore. Anushka holds a master's degree in arts in economics. Anushka did not want to being an actor but rather she was interested in becoming a model or reporter. Anushka was enrolled into Elite Model Management after graduating and underwent training by Prasad Bidapa, the stylist consultant. In 2017 Anushka had her first modeling experience in the Wendell Rodricks' Les Vamps Show at Lakme Fashion Week and was picked by the designer to be his final model for The Spring-Summer 2007 collection. Anushka has since her Lakme Fashion Week modelling debut has been featured in ads for brands such as Fiat Palio Fiat Whisper Nathella Jewelry Silk & Shine Whisper Nathella Jewelry. Anushka Sharma alongside her modelling profession, enrolled in an acting academy and started giving auditions for films. Anushka made her debut as an actor in 2008 in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi with Shah Rukh Khan. As a screen test for her, she refused to do an unplanned test and instead took a day to prepare herself. Then she was a part of three movies for Yash Raj Films. She portrayed the bride, who was young and tied to a man in middle in age (the persona Shah Rukh Khan was portraying). The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka Sharma was the lead in the film 'Badmash Company that came out in the year 2010. The film was also a star-studded film with Shahid Kapoor and the actor Vir Das. The film was met with mixed praise. Anushka Sharma was the lead in the film "Band Baaja Baraat. She portrayed an Punjabi woman in the middle classes who runs her own wedding business. The film received a positive review. Anushka's contract for three films at Yash Raj Films ended with Band Baaja Baaraat.
