Kristin Fisher will join CNN in 2021. She will be the Space and Defense Correspondent. As the Space and Defence Correspondent for CNN, she's responsible to cover everything ranging from NASA and the newly formed Space Force up until commercial space-related companies and the growth and advent of tourism to space. Kristin's parents were each NASA astronauts. Kristin spent her childhood in space. She has also worked as a White House reporter for FOX News reporting on the Trump and Biden Administrations in space matters. Over the course of this time, she covered the 2020 presidential campaign, two impeachment trial, two efforts to stop the corona virus pandemic, in addition to two distinct administrations' efforts. Kristin travelled extensively, including both the vice president and president. She even went on an extremely secret trip to Afghanistan alongside Donald Trump. Kristin was a television reporter for Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, Washington, D.C., which she won an Emmy Award for her work as the "one-man-band" reporter prior to becoming a reporter for CBS in the year 2015. Kristin began Field Mouse Films with her skills behind the camera back in 2014. The company specialized in making documentaries for corporate clients which included Uber as well as Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin received her Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from Boston University. Kristin lives with husband, daughter and 3-year-old daughter in Washington, D.C.
